Tequila Express plot

Alice Jeffries (Anne Jensen) is an American college student who leaves for Mexico for spring break with one of her best friends. However, their vacation quickly changes when the young women are arrested for drug possession and sent to prison. Hotel detective David Manning (Christopher Atkins) has reasons to believe she's innocent. He suspects they have been framed when he learns that Alice is the daughter of the governor of California and a large sum of money has been asked for their release.
