Smokescreen plot
When a burning car crashes off a cliff in eastern Brighton, the insurance company sends an investigator to the coast to snoop around. Because the driver had recently taken out a life insurance policy and no body was found, this is at least suspicious. In addition, there seem to be other people who are taking advantage of that case.
