River Beat plot
"Diamonds on her meant trouble!"
London Police Inspector Dan Barke, who is patrolling the river looking for smugglers, is attracted to Judy Roberts. Judy works as a radio operator on one of the ships. Judy comes into possession of some smuggled pearls and Dan has to determine if she knew it was contraband or if it was being used. Should Judy be guilty, he will have to arrest her in spite of his feelings. If she's innocent, he must protect her from the smuggling ring, known for killing people who have betrayed them.
