Rinchi plot

Seikichi is a hard-working man within the Sugawara crime syndicate and is forced to steal a golden Buddha statue from a temple. However, he does not give it to his bosses, but hides it. He then runs off with his beloved Okayo, because his nemesis Umekawa also has a crush on her. Fearing that he will be caught, Seikichi turns himself in to the police and goes to jail. Years later, he is released and his daughter waits for the man she thinks has been at sea all along. But his old syndicate colleagues and his beloved Okayo are also waiting for him...
