"A cock-eyed college...the gas-house gang and night-club gals as stewdents...with bums on the campus and the campus on the bum."
The gambler and petty criminal 'Knucks' McGloin has determined how much money is involved in the annual American Football game of the 'Rose Bowl College'. McGloin decides to start an American Football team at the Carnasie College near him, but with professional players. He puts the money that this team earns into his own pocket. But then McGloin has to deal with a rival, the mobster Gilatti, who is also going to start an American Football team. Looks like McGloin and Gilatti's teams will have to play against each other.
