Phantom Raiders plot

"A new Nick Carter adventure!"

Master detective Nick Carter arrives in Panama to investigate the destruction of Allied motor ships at the request of the London shipping insurer Llewellyns. Carter gets help in his quest from the eccentric beekeeper 'Beeswax' Bartholomew. Both have to deal with the mysterious and influential nightclub owner Al Taurez, his criminal accomplice and former heavyweight boxer 'Gunboat' Jacklin, and the Panamanian femme-fatal Cora Barnes.
