"Fast Living... Thrill Seeking... always One Jump Ahead!"

American journalist Paul Banner works for the Daily Comet in England. He investigates the murder of a female blackmailer allegedly witnessed by a schoolboy. However, the trail that Banner is following turns out to be complicated. In addition, he has fallen for one Maxine, but in the meantime the blonde Judy, his former lover, tries to win him back.
