Murder Reported plot

Successful journalist Jeff Holly is assigned to investigate the murder of a politician whose body was hidden in a briefcase. Holly's enthusiasm quickly fades when his editor-in-chief North insists that he take his daughter Amanda with him for the investigation. Fortunately for Holly, Amanda turns out to be a very good researcher and reporter. They make a good team and even fall in love. They discover that the killer is a political rival.
