Midnight Morals plot
A woman meets a robber in her house. He beats her and then steals her pearls. Later in a dance hall, one Preen Lazetti dances with nightclub dancer Katy Dolan until his girlfriend Dora Cobb gets angry. When Sergeant Dan McKennan sees his son Dave, also a police officer, dancing with Katy, the moralistic Dan is outraged and sends his son home. Preen knows that since the robbery, Dan has been after him and he gives the stolen pearls to Dora. In the ladies' room, Dora then slips these pearls into Katy's bag.
