Miami Expose plot
""Operation Joyland!""
Police Lieutenant Bart Scott is specially recruited to deal with the gamblers in Miami. Although he wants nothing more than to crush these gamblers, he is frustrated by the loopholes in the law. Things get personal for Scott when his old friend is killed in a war between two gambling syndicates, that of grizzled "Tsar" Raymond Sheridan and that of hot-headed and young Louie Ascot. Lila Hodges is the only witness to the murder and she is placed under the protective care of Scott, but he wants to use her as bait to round up the gambling syndicates.
