Melancholy plot
The young woman Koharu is cheated and after a long time is single again. One night she saves the life of a man lying on the train tracks. He is the successful doctor Daigo and single with a daughter Hikari. The two grow closer, but Daigo is a lot older and quickly wants a new mother in his daughter's life. For Koharu, he is the prince on the white horse and they soon get married. She has to get used to the role as a mother, but adjusts to the new life as a housewife. It soon becomes apparent that Daigo is hiding part of his past and Hikari gives Koharu ominous signals.
