Maharathi plot

A famous film director, his wife who used to star in his films, a driver, a lawyer, a janitor and the policeman Gokhale all try to outsmart each other. The film director has taken out a large life insurance policy. He becomes depressed by his wife's behavior and shoots himself. His wife has to prove that a murder was committed here, not suicide, in order to be able to claim the life insurance.
