La Machine plot

A young man works as a factory worker in the suburbs of Paris. Frustrated by lack of social contact, he seeks some affection from young girls, but because of her panic reaction, he kills an eight-year-old. He is arrested and interrogated by police and psychiatrists. The media also pounces on the case and, in the end, he is sentenced to death and sent to the guillotine.
