La Bavure plot

Car thief Bruno is caught. His beautiful sister Betty pleads with Inspector Corti for his release, which his superior Lessner approves on the condition that Bruno becomes a snitch. However, Betty and Corti know that Bruno is no match for the criminal environment. In case of a bill tipped by Bruno, the police are not present in time. As the mobsters flee, police officer Bricourt is shot, but Corti sees that the murder weapon is the police's and discovers a dirty game...
