Reporter Paul Kimberly resigns from his newspaper to investigate shady dealings at the local Veterans Association. Paul's employer tries to get him back to their newspaper through reporter Anne Arnold. Together, Anne and Paul go after a gangster gang. To their surprise, both find that Anne's father Vincent is at the head of this gang.
