Identity plot

The Identity Unit, led by Chief Inspector Martha Lawson, works on any case where the search for an identifier is an important element in solving a crime. Martha takes a risk by hiring DI John Bloom who is an ex-undercover cop. Bloom is very aware of what it's like to pretend to be someone else. The team investigates the sudden explosion of identity theft. From killers who take over the lives of their victims to criminals who change their identities to avoid detection. Over time, questions arise within the team about Bloom's working method.
