Iddu plot
Mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro is known as the last godfather and has been on the run from the authorities for three decades. He is responsible, among other things, for the murder of several prosecutors. He is diametrically opposed to Catello, a man working for the intelligence services. The two gentlemen work exceptionally together by secretly passing on information to each other through written letters. Denaro is eventually captured in the year 2023 after undergoing cancer treatment.
