Brad McArthur hires Clint Reynolds as his press agent when he is charged with manslaughter. He wants to present himself in the eyes of the public as a humanitarian person. Clint therefore lets him adopt an orphaned boy named Bobby, whom Brad becomes very fond of. But then it turns out that Brad's girlfriend Linda is cheating on him and having an affair behind his back with Clint.
