Hunter plot

At a campsite and playground, two seven-year-old boys are reported missing. It soon becomes apparent that the two incidents have something to do with each other. Inspector Barclay and his team investigate the disturbing disappearances. E-mails arrive to the national media with evidence of the kidnapping and the kidnappers' demands for a number of laws to be repealed and a shocking anti-abortion film to be broadcast on TV. Otherwise the children will be killed. Barclay is banned from negotiating with the kidnappers by his superiors. Meanwhile, his young and ambitious employees get in his way and each other's zeal to find clues and solve the case. As the investigation grinds to a halt, the clock is ticking irrevocably. Frustrated by the turn of events, Barclay enlists the help of his former colleague Amy Foster.
