High Speed plot
"Auto Speed Demons, Living at a Pace that the Human Body was Never Meant to Stand! SPEED DEMONS of the SPEEDWAY!!"
Driver Paul Whipple is dying from injuries sustained in a car accident. Paul asks his mechanic Bill Toomey to care for his disabled son Buddy and raise him further. Bill is in love with Peggy, the daughter of the car manufacturer Preston, and her intervention allows him to form a partnership with him. Preston agrees that Bill will drive his new car in an important race. Bill is happy about this opportunity because if he wins the top prize of $5,000, he can pay for surgery, after which Buddy can walk again. During the race, however, Bill has to deal with the unscrupulous driver Steve Macey.
