Hard Guy plot
"An easy trigger finger kept the glamor girl in line...They'll marry any young fool who has the price of a fifty-thousand dollar annulment in his pocket!"
The con man Vic Monroe is a criminal who runs a nightclub. Monroe runs this nightclub only for the purpose of having his young wives seduce the wealthy visitors into marrying them. Monroe then blackmails these wealthy clients and he then collects the money, which is stipulated in the divorces. Julie Cavanaugh, one of Monroe's girls, becomes a problem for him when she falls in love with wealthy client Anthony "Tony" Tremaine Jr.. Just before Julie wants to pay Tony back the blackmail money, Monroe kills her. Julie's sister Doris Starr is out for revenge.
