"There's always another way out."
Black teenager Jacob is shot and killed by a white Chicago police officer. As Black Lives Matter protests rage through the city, gang violence is on the rise in one of America's homicide-ridden capitals. Jowann, Jacob's cousin, hopes for a better life and doesn't want to end up as yet another statistic. He fights desperately for a way out of the neighborhood.
