Domingo de Carnaval plot
Madrid, early 20th century. On the same morning that the carnival begins, the corpse of a wealthy greedy moneylender is found. It is immediately discovered that the woman has been murdered. The prime suspect is a watch salesman who owed the old woman a lot of money. But his daughter, dissatisfied with her father's arrest, begins to investigate herself.
