"THE WAY SHE LOVED ONE MAN...Became a murder rap for another!"
War veteran Ralph Wyatt is told by telephone that his wife wants a divorce and he flees from the psychiatric ward of the veterans' hospital, because he wants to speak to her in person. Lieutenant Andy Flynn leads the hunt for Wyatt. Wyatt's wife Connie has an affair with Wyatt's old naval comrade Norman Roper. However, Roper refuses to divorce his wife and a fight ensues in which Connie Wyatt is killed by Roper, who then blames the escaped Ralph Wyatt.
