Destination Murder plot
"Love Was One Rap He Couldn't Beat!"
Gangster leader Stretch Norton orders Arthur Mansfield to be killed. Lauren, Arthur's daughter, recognizes the killer. She identifies the killer: Jackie Wales, but the police are only interested in Norton's arrest. Lauren now investigates herself and befriends Jackie, who offers her a job at his nightclub. When Jackie and his girlfriend Alice Wentworth set out to blackmail Norton, they are both found murdered shortly afterwards. Lauren tells Norton that she saw Armitage commit the murder and asks him to kill Armitage. Norton does have Armitage killed, but blames Lauren for it. Lauren now has a big problem.
