Destination Big House plot

Schoolteacher Janet Brooks inadvertently becomes involved in a scandal while spending the weekend alone in her fiancé Dr. Walter Phillips. Janet has given first aid to injured criminal Joe Bruno, who is on the run from his gangster gang with $80,000 in cash. Unbeknownst to Janet, Bruno hides the money in her cabin. While Janet is running errands, mobsters Ed Somers and Stubby Moore make contact with Bruno and leave again, leaving him with fatal gunshot wounds.
