There is a lot of drug trafficking in the German capital Berlin. When a cop who has infiltrated the environment is gunned down, Commissioner Fredo Schulz and the narcotics squad are put in charge of the investigation. As his career draws to a close, this former alcoholic, cunning and vulnerable at the same time, is confronted by his personal demons. However, he is determined to expose the informant who informs the drug traffickers of every police action.
