Chasing Gold plot

"Find the gold, save the girl."

Frank Walsh is an experienced police commander, who has been through everything in his years of service. When his retired colleague and best friend Charlie is murdered, Frank takes charge of the investigation. At the same time, an old flame asks him to find her missing daughter Judy. He soon finds Judy, but she turns out to be in serious trouble and involved in shady business. As his investigation into Charlie's killer progresses, he discovers that Charlie had a large amount of gold in his house safe and that this gold was probably stolen by the killer. It now appears that several criminal organizations are after the fortune.
