Bad Boy plot
Johnny Fraser heads to the big city full of enthusiasm for his new job as an engineer. His work ethic is quickly rewarded by his boss, and his mother is especially proud of her only son's success. However, his "best friend," Steve Carson, encourages him to gamble and introduces him to singer Madelon Kirby, who takes advantage of his infatuation. Lacking money, he steals from his employer and ends up behind bars. He loses all hope of a new job and seeks refuge in the underworld.
