Zwei Genies plot

Jakob Senf comes to apply for a job as a bookkeeper with an accountant. The accountant is out of the house for a moment, so the secretary puts Jakob to work on some bookkeeping. A little later, Emil Pinne, a second applicant, enters the office. Emil thinks Jakob is the accountant, because he is working behind the desk. Jakob, however, thinks Emil is the accountant.
