Wives Never Know plot
"Caught in the Act! Charlie'll have to talk fast to talk Mary out of believing what she sees!"
Homer and Marcia Bigelow are a happily married couple. One day they receive a visit from novelist J. Hugh Ramsey. He finds himself both too wise to ever marry and, through hubris, qualified to present his own wild theories about what constitutes a happy marriage. For example, he has written a bestseller entitled 'Marriage, the living death'. Ramsey decides that the Bigelows' marriage can't possibly be as perfect as it seems, and convinces Homer that his wife must be secretly unhappy.
