Why Would I Lie? plot

Cletus is a compulsive liar, even if he sticks to the term 'make up' himself. He lands a job as a social worker and is assigned the business of a boy, Jorge, who is taken from his mother. Cletus wants to get Jorge back to his mother, but this requires him to make up a story to keep Jorge from being adopted. In search of the mother, Cletus falls in love with a female civil servant.
