Welcome to Sajjanpur plot
It was Jawaharlal Nehru who changed the name of the town of Durjanpur to Sajjanpur because many changes took place. The town still has bad roads, bad drinking water and 9 out of 10 times a day there is no electricity. Most people who live there do not speak English and therefore cannot write. One of the few who can do this is Mahadev Kuswah, who lives with his mother and runs a small greengrocer with her after his father left at a young age. He helps at Satna University to teach writing to the people who can't.
