Watch It, Sailor! plot
Sailor Albert Tufnell plans to marry Shirley Hornett. As the ceremony is about to begin, a telegram arrives from an officer who was aboard his ship. It states that the marriage cannot possibly take place at that time. Shirley's bossy mother doesn't know the facts behind the telegram, but suspects the worst. Albert and his best friend Carnoustie Bligh try to figure out what's going on, but the arrival of an officer from the ship with an explanation only complicates matters...
