"Your Government Loves You... Especially When You're Dead."

On the hottest day of the year, an unknown virus spreads through downtown Philadelphia. The infected victims, maddened by dehydration, begin to attack other residents in a gruesome manner. When the military is called in to contain the situation, but realizes they can't come up with a vaccine soon enough, they cordon off the area and leave everyone to die. Trapped in the basement of their building and abandoned by the military, a group of locals work together to survive.
