Votez Bougon plot
Encouraged by his family, Paul Bougon decides to enter politics. He and his family founded the National Economy Party (PEN). The party relies on the sale of membership cards and illegal donations. He tries to convince his fellow citizens that he can bring about change. The people believe in him and he is elected as Premier of Quebec. Together with his daughter, son and brother, they move to Ottawa where each of them gets a role in the government. Meanwhile, his wife, Rita Bourgon, travels south with her sister and falls in love with a handsome Cuban man named Chico.
