Vorwärts Immer! plot
The pregnant Anne wants to obtain a false passport for the West for an illegal immigration and travels against her father's will to Monday's demonstrations in Leipzig. Her father, a famous East German state actor and gifted President Honecker impersonator, accidentally discovers that tanks will be used against the protesters at the next demonstration. Dressed as Honecker, he sneaks into the Central Committee to change the order, but unfortunate circumstances end up with Margot Honecker, the president's wife.
