Virilité plot

"What are men good for?"

At thirty, Alexis has never been engaged. Someone introduces him to Laura and he falls in love. The girl is actually a bit of a witch: she uses her gifts to push him towards social success (money, marriage and children). But the result is not satisfactory for a long time. The couple eventually struggles with a crisis and searches for a modern ideal compromise.
