"It's D - D - Day"

Despite inheriting his father's wealth, Yorkshire cloth merchant Chayley Broadbent is haunted by the ghost of the miserly dead man and still counts every penny himself. This is, of course, much to the dismay of his fiancée Ethel, who turns down his marriage request. She has absolutely no sense in a life of mind-numbing work as a replacement for his housekeeper. Chayley decides to drown his sorrows in London where he meets the voluptuous lady Ruthine West, who knows very well what she wants.
