Ubu Roi plot

Père Ubu is a fat, stingy, cowardly power-hungry man who plots to kill the king of Poland in order to seize power there. But his dictatorial policies and his equally calculating wife Mère Ubu mean that his regime is short-lived. Soon he and his Lords of Phinancy get involved in a war with Russia. A rather surrealistically staged adaptation of Alfred Jarry's play.
