Trottie True plot
It is about 1890. The young theater star Trottie True is increasingly successful. She takes on more and more star-like appearances and a relationship with the fanatical and eccentric balloonist Sid Skinner fits in with that. But Trottie is getting better and better and she now wants to improve her social status as well. Trottie marries wealthy Lord Landon Digby, but she soon finds that her life as a Duchess has not made her happier. Trottie longs for her time with Sid Skinner.
