Kevin Boitelle wrote, directed and edited this brilliant satire in three parts in which a director struggles with a part of the creative process in an increasingly different way. In 'Part 1', voice actor Hannah Hoekstra (who plays herself) complains about the incomprehensible nonsense she has to read out loud to incoherent, pretentious images. In 'Part 2', a theatre company (with Huub Smit as director) secludes itself for 3 days in a squat to make a stage adaptation of 'Komt Een Vrouw Bij De Dokter'. 'In 'Part 3', Roos Dickmann plays the role of Hannah Hoekstra who plays Hanna Hoekstra who goes through every possible channel to get financing for a film project and is forced to make drastic choices in order to be able to make it. Filmed for next to nothing (the actors received no compensation), but there is no sign of that. The script, direction, acting and editing are excellent in a film that not only makes fun of the Dutch film world, but also shows how actors, producers and editors can influence the end result.

Review based on the first screening on September 21, 2024 at the NFF.
