Tortoise in Love plot

"He likes you, he's just a slow mover"

Tom, a gardener at a large house, is not exactly a womanizer. He talks to plants, but not to women. When the beautiful Polish au pair Anya arrives for the summer, Tom falls head over heels for her. Tom's advisor in relationships is young Harry, the neglected son of the owners of the big house. Harry's secret wish is to get the Red Arrows to the carnival; a demonstration team of the British Royal Air Force. Tom's wish is to win Anya's heart. Both dreams seem impossible, until the whole village decides to lend a hand.
