Wendy Reed is an American girl who lives in America with her boyfriend, a musician. She travels to Tokyo to visit a friend, but cannot find her. Wendy is blond and tall for the local standard, so she attracts a lot of attention. She bumps into young Hiro, the lead singer of an unsuccessful pop band. Wendy falls for Hiro and joins his band. Together they quickly attract the attention of a record company.
