Tight Shoes plot
Allan McGrath, editor of the Star-Dispatch, has dinner with a group of journalists. When one of them complains about tight shoes, it prompts Alan to tell the story of Jimmy Rupert and Speedy Miller. With election time approaching, the New York District Attorney was on the hunt for gambling palaces, but he was unable to locate Speedy Miller's gambling den and therefore was unable to locate the political boss, known as ' The Brain', to discover. The Brain protected Speedy and he told him to open more gambling palaces in his district. Speedy's tight shoes play a crucial role in this story...
