Three for Two plot

Three married couples take center stage in three separate stories of married life. Herb and Sally Wolbert, a middle-aged Cleveland couple with grown children, are on vacation in Italy for a month after 24 years of marriage. Banker Fred N. Schneider and housewife Rita Fledgeman, a couple having a discreet affair trying to decide whether to tell their husbands. And Mike and Pauline, who reluctantly find themselves embroiled in a real-life family crisis on New Year's Eve.
