The Warped Forest plot
The film takes us to a place that is both familiar and strange, an excursion into a surreal, parallel world. It begins with three businessmen discussing events and drinking sake. Then we follow a gigantic shop assistant, who barely fits in her shop, normal people and gigantic giants living side by side, trees growing out of women, terrifying wooden nymphs bearing anatomically correct fruit that everyone seems to covet, a strange green fruit in bedrooms , furry little puppet-like critters and weapons that fire from nozzles shaped like genitalia...
