"Out of Your Own Tomorrow... Out of Time and Space a Fearsome Power!"
Cary West is a philosophy professor who is devastated because his wife spends tons of money on a TV set. He becomes completely confused when the TV turns out to be an alien; called The Twonky. Twonky does all the work for the professor and can read everyone's minds. Although The Twonky is made to help, the professor doesn't need that help.
