The Sky Is Falling plot

When young writer Emily Hall (Dedee Pfeiffer) has finally finished her first book, she thinks everything will go as planned. But unfortunately this is not the case. Her newly written book is rejected by all publishers. As if this wasn't enough, her boyfriend Mike (Eric Close) leaves her, her father (whom she's never met) suddenly shows up, her grandmother has a heart attack, and then she's also accidentally mistaken for a volunteer working with people in goes to the hospital with a dog to entertain the patients. But apparently 1 man in the hospital can put an end to her accident...
