The Return of October plot
Terry Ramsey is a girl who thinks her horse is actually the reincarnation of her beloved uncle. On his deathbed, the uncle has stated that he would most like to return as a racehorse that wins the Kentucky Derby. When the family learns of Terry's idea, greed kicks in: they try to have the girl declared mentally ill in order to get possession of her estate.
